That’s right, the same bush you see on the side of the road and in fancy gardens turns out to have beautiful wood. While very soft it has an amazing green heartwood with colour variations of orange not uncommon. The grain “glows” more than other woods from what I’ve noticed. Definitely one of the coolest woods I own.
